Diabetes

(Here is an article my group wrote about diabetes.)

Diabetes is a sickness where your pancreas isn’t working. Usually the function of the pancreas is to make insulin. Insulin is needed as a key to open the body cells so glucose can be absorbed. Glucose is needed for energy.

There a 2 types of diabetes, type1 and type2. Type 1 is where the pancreas is not working. It is not makes enough insulin. Usually people get type 1 diabetes when they are young. They have to inject insulin every day.

In  Type 2  diabetes the pancreas makes insulin but the insulin doesn't work properly.

It doesn't open the door to the body cells to let the glucose go in. People often get type 2

diabetes when they are adults. You are more likely to get it if someone in your family has it, if you are overweight, if you eat too much sugar and if you don’t exercise.

Looking At That Picture And describing It

The sun was trying to shine through dark clouds in the dark sky. Up on the mountain stood some tall rocks in a circle. It will be so dark  to go to this places. Man I think that  I couldn't even make it up there because the rocks are so high up. If someone could do that it will be a miracle. I think the rock is tall then the sky.  

One day someone might even think to go up onto that humongous rock.I would like to try.I think I’ll  do that .

My Rugby Game

I love playing rugby, that is my favourite game. I play for our  Pt England school rugby team and also a club team. The club I play for is Marist. Every Saturday my rugby Marist team plays a game against every team in Auckland .

The day has come, “rugby game time” I` said in my head. We all had to meet at the school to get ready and change into our rugby gear. We played against a team out west. Their name were Waitakere. “Man they had a huge building” I said to myself .

IN MY HOLIDAYS

In the holidays I got to go to the library with my dad and my 2 little cousins. I got to go on the computer 3 times. I LOVED going on the computer because I got to do anything I want. After that I went to the pizza hat to get some pizza for lunch. So me and my dad and 2 little cousin could eat. Before that I book a computer at 1.00 that was before I went to the pizza hat.  

After being at the library we went back home.The next day I went to my rugby training. We did lot and lot of fitness man that was so hard. The day has come it was Saturday that was when we have a rugby game. We v`s  varsity that was Mateo tame.

Well Coming Will.I.AM

Hey you no what Will.I.am came to  pt England school I loved seeing hem. He gave a $100.000.00 cheek holymoly? aye . Before the hole thing pt England school went to the hall to see a important man we did not no that Will.I.am is coming. the next minute he told the school

Will.I.Am told us about his life he said that “he had a poor nabahod’’ but he said that “that he’s friends inspired him to be a famous singer but first he went to school to lrean about science. In his family he had a mum and no dad I did not hre was sad when he said that he had no dad.

He ask us “if we like apps’’ we all said “yes’’ and he said “that we could make apps’’ if we had netbooks.  He said “do we like ipad’’ we all said “yes’’ all claas has 1 2 3 our mabe have 4 .Then he told us a speech.

Befor Will.I.Am did his speech our ptengland kapahaka gurp pifroment in front of him Man when i look at Will.I.Am man he had a hug smile on his face . And I like looking at my friend pattrix  he looked proud one when he did his ending bit of his pifroment. After that I was so happy when mr burt said “now performing is the hip hop tame’’ man the  whole house went from quiet to like I dont no loud?. IT was fun seeing Will.I.Am. I LIKE YOUR SONGS WILL.I.AM
